INDOCHEM started importing and distributing chemical products such as solvents chemical, monomers, specialty chemicals and others since 1972.
Demand for chemicals and various raw materials rapidly increased as Indonesia started the New Economic Development Policy and we started bulk liquid chemical importation in 1983. Realizing the need to be closer to our customers and to have a better market coverage, we decided to open branch offices outside Jakarta. So, in 1989 we opened our first branch office in Surabaya, East Java, followed by another branch office in Bandung, West Java in 1990, and in Semarang, Central Java in 1991.
To provide our customers with quick and on time delivery, each branch office has it own logistic facilities including its own fleet of lorry tanks and trucks
The industries we serve are numerous and they include the paints and coatings, resins and emulsions, adhesives, printing inks and packaging, agro-chemical formulation and electronic industries.
