We used cecko trans from yogyakarta to mt. Bromo to Denpasar, Bali. We were promised ac vans but did not have any ac for the 12 hour van ride and further on to Bali. We ended up so tiered and the hotel provided was terrible. Room had mildew and smelled of it. Hot water was scalding hot with no cold water to mix. So dissatisfied.

We booked a 2 day 1 night trip from Yogyakarta to Denpasar the trip included the following:
Transfer by air con minibus to Mount Bromo - The Air con was broken, the door on the back of the minibus was broken so the luggage fell out on the highway breaking my girlfriend bag, we eventually arrived at Bromo 2-3 hours late.
Hotel with view of Mount Bromo - The hotel existed, the view didn't.
We paid extra for a Jeep to take us up to the viewing point for sunrise, it took us the where the road got rough and made us walk the rest of the way. We were then taken to mount bromo where we'd been told there was time to walk up around and down, we are not super fit, but we only got up and down, there was definitely no time for walking around the top.
Transfer from Mount Bromo to Denpasar by air conditioned coach - A minibus turned up instead, there were only the front two seats left, there was no seat belt so we refused to get in. We were eventually put on a coach which arrived a long way north of Denpasar 3 hours late.

Generally speaking we got what we paid for, it was a very cheap tour, but every piece of information we were given was wrong or more likely a lie. Don't trust these people.

We booked a 3-day tour from Yogyakarta over Mt. Bromo and Mt. Iljen to Bali. Even though it was said that there will be only AC mini buses there was only one had a working AC. At Mt. Bromo we decided to take the hiking way to the vulcano. The guide said it would be very easy to find the way. But there were no proper signs and there is at night lots of fog and no lights. Therefore we got lost in the sourrounding of the vulcano and only found the way back after the sun was already rose up..... The Mt. Iljen was nevertheless very nice! That was really an adventure even though the way up is only recommended for people with some training.
But after the the ferry to bali there was the biggest disappointing situation we have had during the whole stay in Indonesia: There was no more minibus waiting for us bringing us to the final destination Lovina. Instead a "local" person with a minibus was waiting to drive us for another fee (again half price of the complete trip payment!). We decided to take the public transport. That was really disappointing because that part of the trip was said to be included in the advanced payment as well.
