Service Engineer for Madern Asia

Key Responsibilities:

• To perform and carry out field technical support. Conduct installation and commissioning of machine/tooling.
• Collaborate with overseas team to support customer services activities in Asia.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance, emergency callout, repairs, upgrades, telephone, and e-mail support to customers.
• Application software support.
• To liaise with factory in the NL to identify any improvement opportunities.
• Provide pre-sale technical support.
• Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by the management.
• Conduct product application or technical training to customers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess over 5 years solid experience in field services, preferably having working experience in printing and packaging machine.
• Good in planning, organizing and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of a third language is an advance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD drawing software.
• Able to review technical specification and/or to have basic understanding on technical/conceptual drawing provided from customer and suppliers.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to travel overseas frequently (including China).
