Job vacancy Retail Store Manager

A leading Japanese Home Appliances Retailers is currently looking for a dedicated Retail Store Manager in order to expand their business in the Indonesian market. In this role you will be leading collaboratively with the team in their first store in Jakarta.
Main Responsibilities of Retail Store Manager:  

• Lead store operations, encompassing cost control, manpower planning, shelf organization, and cleanliness.
• Perform translation and interpretation tasks.
• Educate and build teams within the store.
• Handle transactions at the cash register (training for teaching required in the future).
• Manage money handling tasks.
• Maintain excellent store conditions, uphold visual merchandising standards, and oversee sales floor changes.
• Receive goods from the Distribution Center.
• Ensure a fully stocked store and stay updated on product information.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Be open to relocation within Indonesia.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree from any major.
• Business-level proficiency in English is a must, Japanese will be a plus.
• Fresh graduates or individuals with working experience in the Retail/Service industry for more than 2 years.
• Must hold Passport.
• Disciplined with a strong commitment to following rules.
• Possess a growth-oriented mindset (aiming for future store manager role).
• Willingness to attend a one-month training at a store in Malaysia.
• Open to relocation within Indonesia.
